Welcome to OnlineSkatesSource.com
Do you like to skate? Are you good at it? Like most things in life, people are good at the things they like. Think about it. If your first experience on skates resulted in your falling down so many times that all you remember is the pain... then chances are you probably don't like to skate. However, if you had even a little success initially, you probably were determined to get your balance and you probably even laughed when you did fall down. In fact, when someone asks you now if you fell down much when you first started skating, you probably have to say something like "I don't remember falling down much."
I'm sure you've noticed that some people are just naturally athletic, and if that is you, then you probably like all kinds of sports... or at least want to give them all a try. My favorite sport is football... perhaps that's because I consider myself pretty good at it. And compared to my skating skills there is no question that I've spent alot more time on a football field as opposed to a skating rink. However, if I had never put on a pair of skates, I just know that I would feel like I was missing something.
It's interesting to me that an athletic person can come in almost all shapes and sizes. And many times those shapes and sizes encourage the athlete to be good in one sport and perhaps not so good in others. For instance, a skater can be short or tall... but how many short basketball players are in the NBA? Not many. And how many tall superstar NBA stars would fare well at Sumo Wrestling? I know that's a Japanese sport... but you get the point.
Anyway, if you love skating, whether it be Roller skating, Ice skating, Inline skating or just sliding in your shoes in the driveway on a cold winter day, welcome to OnlineSkatesSource.com. I hope that you will read some of the articles and also bookmark this site. Please come back frequently and thanks for visiting. :-)
Happy Skating,
Joseph
