Are there any Roller skating stores on Long Island where you can purchase toe stoppers?
Most of the shops near you seem to be focused on inline skating and blading supplies, but the Roller Skating Association shows 23 rinks in New York. Hopefully one is near Long Island:

Usually a local skating rink will carry supplies for all types of skating equipment. Anything they don’t stock can be special ordered.
If you can’t find your skating supplies near home, try one of the internet skate stores. Most will offer phone assistance if needed, so you get the right accassories/stoppers for your skates. Try:
